Directors

The Tattersall's George Adams Foundation is a Trust founded in 2005 to provide money, property or benefits to or for eligible charities as the Trustees decide.

Tattersall's Foundation Limited is the Trustee Company of the Foundation, a company limited by guarantee, and its Directors are the only members.

The Board of Directors comprising of Brian Jamieson, Lyndsey Cattermole and Tony Charlton bring together significant experience across business, commerce, media and the not for profit sector. The Directors perform their duties and that of the Trustee Company for no remuneration.

Brian Jamieson

Brian Jamieson was Chief Executive of Minter Ellison Melbourne and a partner of the Minter Ellison Revenue Group from 2002 – 2005. He previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at KPMG from 1998 – 2000, Managing Partner of KPMG Melbourne and Southern Regions from 1993 – 1998. He was Chairman of KPMG Melbourne from 2001 – 2002.

Brian is currently a Non Executive Director of HBOS Australia Pty Ltd, Oxiana Limited, Sigma Pharmaceutical Limited and Tattersall's Limited. Brian is currently a Director and Treasurer of Care Australia, the Bionic Ear Institute, the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Foundation Limited and Veski. He is also a Director of the Major Performing Arts Board.

Brian was formerly Chairman of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Melbourne. He has over 30 years of experience in providing advice and services to a diverse range of listed and large private companies. Brian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Lyndsey Cattermole

Lyndsey Cattermole was the founder and Managing Director of Aspect Computing Pty Limited from 1974 to 2003, and a director of Kaz Group Limited from 2001 to 2004. Ms Cattermole has also held many board and other membership positions on a range of government, advisory, association and not for profit committees including the Committee for Melbourne, the Australian Information Industries Association and the Victorian Premier's Round Table and as Chairman of the Women's and Children's Health Care Network.

She is currently the Chairman of Methodist Ladies College and holds directorships with Tattersall’s Limited, Foster's Group Limited, the Melbourne Theatre Company, the Victorian Major Events Committee, Lansa Holdings Inc, VNH Systems Pty Limited and Madowla Park Holdings Pty Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society.

Tony Charlton

Tony Charlton has been in the forefront of radio and television in Australia for more than 50 years. From the inaugural telecasts of 1956 he was part of the national television scene for the Nine Network as sports producer and commentator for 14 years. He has covered five Olympic Games, through television and film and two Commonwealth Games. He has had extensive experience in the production and presentation of a wide range of programs and has been responsible for organising many successful major events including Australia’s three premier golf tournaments.

Tony has been involved with many leading charitable organisations including The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Melbourne Legacy, The Australian Olympic Team Fund, The Microsurgery Foundation, The Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and the Starlight Foundation. He was former Chairman of the Alfred Hospital Foundation for 10 years and is a Life Governor.
